'O's Thai Café is young, happy and fresh - just like O himself. With his economics, advertising and fashion design background, and a staff who seem to be having fun, O brings a youthful zip to Thai cuisine. His café is fast and noisy with current favourite music at high volume. But that's not to say the food is anything less than excellent, and very good value too. Order from the comprehensive and well explained menu or from the blackboard list of specials which runs down an entire wall…..If you're new to Thai food, then O's is a good place to learn as the staff are happy to explain how it all works and you can specify how hot you like your food. Most main courses are around £6, which makes for very good value, and all of them are served with a delightfully moulded mountain of rice which is included in the price. They also offers a discount on its prices if you eat early and vacate your table by 8.30pm.'

Biting Edge If your appetite is for Thai food, then '0's Thai Cafe' or the more recent '0 's Bar’ are perfect and both are very reasonably priced and good value for money 0's Bar has tons of noodle options, seafood steamed in banana leaves, green curry sauce, lemon grass, and lime leaves... tantalising ingredients aplenty. The restaurant area has a basic table--and-bench interior rather like a noodle bar. This leads out of the main bar which has a cool slate floor and funky bar stools designed by Stefano Giovannoni, for those into names - but what matters more is that they are comfy and sitting on one of those is rather like putting yourself on a pedestal. |

This long, narrow, buzzing canteen is decorated in minimalist cream with blond wood furniture and a single spotty, coloured wall for that oh-so Soho vibe. The menu is short and sweet…. Gaeng kiew wan was rich and flavoursome and consisted of good chunks of chicken and vegetables with lime and basil in green curry and coconut cream, but the dish of the day was definitely the kratien prik tai talay, a generous, succulent garlicky combination of seafood in coriander paste and oyster sauce. As a bonus, it was a pleasant change to have the rice included in the price of the dish, making O’s Thai Café excellent value for money.

| 'Best Thai/Southeast Asian Restaurant' | 'Crouch End is not short of appealing cafes and restaurants, and O's is not short of customers.. Transplanting from a Muswell Hill pub to the heart of N8 in July 1997 was a move in the rightdirection for 0 & Co.' | Overflowing with happy eaters, even on the Monday night we went, this lively Thai-in-a-pub clearly knows how to keep Muswell Hillbillies coming back for more | |||||||||

'The Thai Cafe that used to occupy a corner of Muswell Hill's Victoria Stakes pub has moved down the road to Crouch End and undergone a metamorphosis.....and they've done a great job with the new premises. Crouch End now has its own Wagamama-ish designer canteen.....0n a Saturday night, the place was humming with boisterous chat as a lively crowd of mostly twenty and thirtysomethings tucked into a stream of simply presented dishes.....'
